Summary of Key Bylaws Changes

ARTICLE 1, SECTION 1 - Changes the name from FOGA (Friends of the Georgia Archives) to FOGAH (Friends of Georgia Archives and History)

ARTICLE 4, SECTION 1 – Raises the maximum number of board members from 18 to 25.

ARTICLE 4, SECTION 5 – Raises the minimum number of board meetings per year from 2 to 4 and creates an Executive Committee of the Officers (and other Trustees, as desired) to transact business between meetings.

ARTICLE 6, SECTION 2 – Designates the Vice-President as President-Elect.

ARTICLE 12 – Eliminates the requirement that amendment notices be delivered by ground mail.
