About the event
Archives & Genealogy Day will be held at the Georgia Archives on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
The event offers two tracks focused on developing genealogy skills and connecting researchers
with resources available throughout Georgia. Track 1 features a hands-on genealogy research
workshop, while Track 2 offers presentations from the Georgia Archives, Digital Library of
Georgia, and Georgia Public Library Service, followed by a panel discussion.
Doors open at 9:00 a.m. The event is sponsored by the Georgia Archives and Friends of Georgia
