FOGAH Day - Banner.jpg

When your history research is complete, how do you share it with others?  The Friends of the Georgia Archives (FOGAH) presented a one-day consortium of history-focused researchers, writers, and publishers to explore this question.

This event was held on August 23, 2025, from 10 AM to 3:30 PM at the Georgia Archives.

The day began with a presentation on writing articles, followed by a session on marketing your work. During lunch, vendors representing various historical groups and publishers were in the archives’ lobby. After lunch, a panel of authors spoke about how to self-publish your work. Finally, at the end of the day, FOGAH members took an exclusive tour of the Georgia Archives.

This event was made possible thanks to support from the Georgia Archives and the Clayton County Tourism Authority.
